Opportunities to Be A Blessing!

A woman who wasn't sure that God was hearing her prayers,
asked the Lord to please speak to her ...

"Tell me what I should do with my life?" she asked.

"Help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the
homeless, visit the sick and those in prison." God answered.

Startled by hearing God speak to her so quickly and so directly,
muttered - "I . . . I . . . I was only testing."

"So was I," God sadly replied.

"Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the Kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry,
and you fed Me. I was thirsty, and you gave Me a drink. I was a
stranger, and you invited Me into your home. I was naked, and you
gave Me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for Me. I was in prison,
and you visited Me. I assure you, when you did it to one of the least
of these My brothers and sisters, you were doing it to Me!"
Matthew 25:34-36,40

"When God's children are in need, you be the one to help them out." Romans 12:13

"Don't forget to do good and share what you have with those in
need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God." Hebrews 13:16

"He will not forget the way you show your love for Him by helping
His children. Keep right on loving others as long as life lasts, so that
you will receive your full reward." Hebrews 6:10-11

Just as an earthly father gives some resources to one child in the family
and then tells that child not to forget to share with their brothers and
sisters, so our Heavenly Father blesses us with resources so we can
share those resources with our brothers and sisters. He doesn't want
us to keep what He has given to us just for ourselves. For He says to us:

"It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Acts 20:35

out where you would have an opportunity to be a blessing to others.
We are to be good stewards of the resources He has given to us, so
please "prayerfully" seek His guidance regarding each of these
ministries before contributing to any of them.

"Not a mite of the gold or the silver will I withhold from Thee, O Lord."
